Downtown Automotive is a fantastic business, one that has gained my trust over many years of taking a number of different vehicles in to them. I trust them to take care of my wife and daughters’ vehicles and know that anything that they say needs to be repaired or replaced actually needs to be done. They have better communication than any other shop that I have ever used.

I recently visited Brian at Downtown Auto, on the advice of my kids. Brian has worked on their Jettas for years. Brian was helpful and knowledgeable. I will use him in the future for sure!

I’ve been bringing my 2005 Honda CR-V here for 5+ years. They’ve done numerous oil changes, replaced my brake pads, replaced my battery, fixed my starter, fixed a headlight wiring problem, and done general maintenance for me. They fixed my car after a different place messed up my engine air intake. The first time I went there it was because I lived around the corner; I’ve since moved across town but still bring my car to them. They are super quick, thorough, and don’t try to price gouge you. As a young woman, I’ve encountered plenty of mechanics that are either super condescending or try to take advantage of people who might not know much about cars. The folks at downtown automotive explain everything without being patronizing and I feel like I can trust them. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Great shop, detailed comprehensive inspection with report. Work executed properly in timely fashion. Pricing was fair and competitive with all the other decent shops in eugene. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. Their experienced detailed oriented staff made my experience a breeze.
